Auto site CarBuzz claims to have spotted a new version of Porsche’s 911 being tested in street use, and there appear to be several stylistic changes.
1) Let there be width – CarBuzz feels that the body is wider than its predecessor, though it’s hard to judge definitively from their photographs.
2) More holistic lighting – The front air intakes are swept up into the LEDs in a much more integrated fashion than the 2014 model, which makes them look like a complementary unit. Perhaps because of this change, the length of the front bumper appears extended slightly.
3) More Macan – The rear lights appear to be larger, and less angular than the previous iteration. Some people will say this is to track with the Macan’s rounded imprint design. Whatever the philosophy, they definitely cover more space than the 2014’s.
And while we’re talking about the rear section, we have to point out that new rear air outlets are present on the rear bumper directly behind the wheel wells.
